Thanks in no small part to an accidental consequence of his long-cherished habit of fiddling with things, he is rumoured to have gained some unaccustomed insight and veteran understanding into how things work. His curiosity is the curious thing about him. He has been involved with the planning, design, installation, testing, and troubleshooting of optical communication networks since 1984. He has been involved with the planning, installation, restoration and maintenance of fibre optic services and networks since 1984. When he is not at work, he can be found fishing, racing his off-road bike, hurting himself at the gym or doing a Jimi Hendricks impression on his guitar. While serving in this capacity, he gained specialist experience in the maintenance, troubleshooting and installation of high-capacity long and short-haul telecommunication equipment. He has led many optical projects from concept through design and deployment. He also has unmatched experience in the design and deployment of FTTH networks - leveraging P2MP or P2P solutions.
